As an Independent Consultant, I am committed to providing quality, person-centered support to enhance the lives of the individuals and families I serve. My personal background raising a child with unique needs brings years of real-life experience and honest perspective to both the home and the school setting. I am dedicated to helping families navigate early interventions to achieve the best possible outcomes.
I earned my Master of Arts degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in both the states of Oregon and Washington.
I have extensive experience working within the school system developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students, as well as providing training and professional development opportunities for staff. I seek to empower individuals working within the schools to understand the unique learning styles of neurodivergent individuals, and the environmental impacts that create barriers to their learning.
I earned my baccalaureate degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Metropolitan State University of Denver and spent the initial part of my professional career working in Corrections and Probation. Within my criminal justice roles, I gained experience working with individuals with varying backgrounds attempting to change their individual futures. My goals have always been focused on helping others.
