Behavior Consultative Services

Private comprehensive behavioral evaluation conducted to provide critical insights into the impacts affecting a student's ability to access their education.  This unbiased assessment is focused solely on the needs of the student.

Consultation Meeting(s) to discuss areas of concerns and development of student/building planning.  *Parent consent required for BCBA involvement.

Meeting(s) with Building Officials, School Administration, School Psychologist, MTSS Team, and/or IEP Team Members to develop wraparound supports for student/building behavioral concerns.

Training for General and Special Education Teachers and Support Staff on a variety of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) topics (e.g., data collection systems and methods, understanding the basics of behavior, de-escalation procedures, classroom management, etc.)

Purpose: to identify the function or 'why' behind the occurrence of behaviors.  Identify setting events and precipitating factors that contribute to the occurrence of problem behaviors

Purpose: a concrete protocol for school staff to follow to reduce and respond to problem behavior

Purpose: to gather information on an individual's performance that potentially indicates developmental skill deficits

Purpose: to identify potential stimuli (e.g., people, items and activities) to utilize as reinforcers to change future behavior

*Student observations require parental consent for BCBA involvement. 

System developed to track baseline and intervention data 

System developed to decrease problem behavior by introducing desirable stimuli intended to reinforce the occurrences of positive behavior  

System developed to aid in responding to behavior.  These protocols will either make the behavior more or less likely to occur in the future. 

School plan for Staff which includes the appropriate steps to take when responding to escalations in the classroom/school.
